Worlds Iconic is seeking an enthusiastic and organized

Volunteer Manager

to lead volunteer operations for two of Dubai's most exciting endurance events -- Ultra Trail Dubai and the Burj2Burj Half Marathon. This role will oversee volunteer recruitment, training, coordination, and on-site management, ensuring every volunteer contributes to an exceptional athlete and spectator experience.

Key Responsibilities

Recruit, train, and manage 200-400 volunteers across both events. Coordinate with community groups, universities, and volunteer platforms such as Volunteers.ae. Assign and brief volunteers for roles in logistics, athlete services, hydration stations, start/finish operations, branding, F&B, and VIP support. Oversee on-site volunteer check-in, accreditation, uniforms, and meal distribution. Work with operations, medical, and security teams to ensure volunteer efficiency and safety. Lead volunteer captains and provide daily oversight during event build, race day, and breakdown. Manage post-event recognition, feedback, and retention initiatives.

What We're Looking For

3-5 years' experience in event or volunteer management (sports or endurance events preferred). Excellent organizational and communication skills. Confident leading large teams under pressure. Passionate about community engagement and sports. Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace; experience with Volunteers.ae or event platforms a plus.
