Social Awaken is a leading social media agency in the UK & UAE. We specialise in the hospitality industry. Are you looking to join one of the most exciting social media agencies in the UK? We are looking for a jaw dropping freelance VFX editor who can create and edit exciting videos for social media. Responsibilities
Part-time hours: 10 per week Salary: AED100.00 - AED300.00 per hour Education:
- Collaborate with our content team to ensure visual effects are seamlessly integrated into the final product
- Create and edit exciting social media videos using Visual Effects.
- Work with our content team to understand the creative vision and intention of each shot and sequence
- Ensure consistency in visual effects across the entire project
- Use software such as Adobe After Effects, Nuke, and Maya to create and edit visual effects
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and techniques to continuously improve skills and knowledge
- Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure project timelines and goals are met
- Provide accurate time and cost estimates for each visual effects shot or sequence
- Manage and organize files, assets, and render outputs to maintain project efficiency
- Proficient in industry-standard VFX software such as Nuke, After Effects, and Maya.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under tight deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Familiarity with color correction, compositing, and motion graphics.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
- Ability to understand and interpret storyboards and client briefs.
- Experience in creating visual effects for film, television, or advertising.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling and animation is a plus.
- Fluent in the use of a camera for shooting videos/film.
- An understanding of colour grading
- Attention to detail
- Able to organise and schedule own work and to work independently
- Able to travel
