Role Overview:
Orbit International Survey Services (Orbit ISS) is seeking an experienced Freelance Multi Inspector to support Oil & Gas, Energy, and Industrial projects. The role involves performing multi-disciplinary inspection activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and client requirements across various stages of project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform inspection activities related to welding, painting/coating, piping, and/or structural works as applicable.
Verify materials, workmanship, and installation against approved drawings, ITPs, method statements, and project specifications.
Conduct visual inspections, dimensional checks, and verification of fabrication, installation, and testing activities.
Review and verify inspection records, reports, and quality documentation.
Identify, report, and follow up on non-conformances, ensuring timely corrective actions.
Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, engineering, and client representatives during inspections.
Ensure all inspection activities comply with ASME, API, ISO, AWS, NACE/AMPP, and project-specific standards.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
3-5 years of experience as a Multi Inspector or QA/QC Inspector in Oil & Gas, Energy, or Industrial projects.
Mandatory certifications: CSWIP, NACE/AMPP, BGAS, AWS, API, or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of inspection standards and codes (ASME, API, ISO, AWS, NACE).
Proven hands-on experience in multi-discipline inspection (Welding, Painting/Coating, Piping, Structural).
Valid UAE Driving License.
