Freelance Event Manager (3-Month Contract)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and creative Freelance Event Manager to plan and execute a premium home decor and lifestyle exhibition in Abu Dhabi. You will work closely with the marketing, operations, and design teams to ensure every aspect of the event runs smoothly, from initial planning to the final execution.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage event logistics and timelines

Act as the primary point of contact for exhibitors, vendors, and suppliers

Oversee event setup and dismantling

Handle budgets, payments, and vendor contracts

Ensure compliance with venue and safety regulations

Supervise on-site operations and support event staff

Assist with marketing and promotional activities leading up to and during the event

Prepare post-event reports and gather feedback

Requirements

Proven experience as an Event Manager (preferably with exhibitions or lifestyle events)

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure

Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills

Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)

Based in the UAE and available for the entire contract period
