Responsibilities

Develop detailed 2D and 3D designs using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, or SolidWorks. Create accurate schematics and technical drawings aligned with project specifications and client requirements. Utilise SketchUp, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, and other relevant tools to produce comprehensive models and visualisations. Collaborate with project teams to interpret design briefs and translate concepts into practical designs. Ensure all designs adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices within the construction sector. Revise and update drawings based on feedback from clients or project managers to meet evolving project needs. Maintain organised digital files of all design documents for easy access and version control.

Requirements

Proven experience in architectural or civil design projects, preferably within the construction industry. Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks, Schematics, Civil 3D, NavisWorks, SketchUp. Strong understanding of construction processes and technical drawing standards. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines. Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and project teams remotely. A portfolio demonstrating previous design work across relevant software platforms is highly desirable.
