Your day to day

• Greet incoming and departing Guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to assigned bar / dining area; present menus; announce waiter\'s name.
• Greeting guests as they enter, and putting them on a waiting list as necessary. Assist them to the designated waiting list areas.
• Use visual cues to seat Guests in either the bar or dining area depending on their preference
• Inform Guest of current promotions and who will be serving them to ensure a smooth handoff to the service staff.
• Assigning guests to tables they prefer, while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive the right number of customers.
• Providing guests with menus and answering any initial questions.
• Engaging with guests to ensure they\'re happy with food and service.
• Responding to any guest complaints, address the floor supervisor as necessary and help to resolve them.
• Answering phone calls, taking reservations and answering reservation and restaurant food & services inquiry.
• Manage the flow of Guests into the Dining and Bar areas, provide accurate wait times to incoming Guests if appropriate.
• Tend to special Guest needs and requests.
• Observant to Guests\' needs throughout dining experience to ensure they receive high quality service.
• Adhering to sanitation, safety policies.

What we need from you

• Previous experience working as a host/hostess in a restaurant or bar is required.
• English is required.
• French is an advantage.
