Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer having experience in FrameCAD design

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop detailed designs and shop drawings for Light Gauge Steel structures using FrameCAD software.

- Perform structural analysis and ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications.

- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless project execution.

- Prepare material take-offs, cost estimates, and construction documentation.

- Review and optimize designs for efficiency, constructability, and cost-effectiveness.

- Provide technical support during fabrication and construction phases.

- Stay updated on industry trends, FrameCAD advancements, and best practices in LGS design.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).

- Minimum 3 years of experience in designing and detailing Light Gauge Steel systems using FrameCAD software.

- Proficiency in FrameCAD Detailer, Structure, and other related design tools.

- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and building codes (e.g., AISI, AS/NZS, AISC or equivalent).

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

- Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and present technical information clearly.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or other BIM software.

- Knowledge of construction processes and on-site challenges related to LGS systems
