Job Description

MAIN JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Informs superior when raw materials arrive for delivery and with essential details needed in making Material Receiving Reports. Checks with the following materials with superior as to the quantity, size, and quality etc. with the use of on-hand LPO before unloading. Keeping in mind to unload the material safely and to maintain its good condition. Study the requisitions from planning or production in issuing materials for consumption as directed by the immediate superior. Checks and confirm the requested material such as board, paper, and auxiliary items if it matches with the requisition before issuing of materials and to get the signature of the supervisor or requester as a token of acceptance. Stores all materials in the proper place and arranges them in a way that it will not hinder in walkways or may compromise safety. Monitors the shelf life of each material and ensures that all materials are in good condition. Follows the First-in First-out principle during issuance of materials. Takes proper care to materials while handling to avoid damage and to report any found damage to the immediate superior. Assist superiors in updating bin card register. Takes full responsibility in handling materials in proper way to avoid any untoward damages, if so, inform immediate superior for any found problems. Informs immediate superior if stock is below the required material quantity. Keeping the store area neat and clean by arranging the materials in the proper way. See to it that forklift is always in good condition and seek the help of maintenance staff to check any possible problem of the forklift. Ensures proper safety measures for all equipment and other staff. Maintaining Hygiene and Safety in line with foregoing internal policy of the company and ensuring proper housekeeping in all shifts. TIMELY JOB FUNCTIONS & ERRANDS Be able to adjust and comprehend with additional tasks given by superiors other than the required work responsibilities. Takes full responsibility on company guidelines relative to proper wearing of uniform, ID cards, shoes, proper grooming (long hair not allowed) and all other related internal policies of the company. Ensures to cooperate in the event that overtime duty is required. Shall work on Fridays / Holidays if required. Ensures that proper notification shall be given to immediate supervisors before the absent date. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Trade certificate holder or graduated from a vocational course (if available). At least 2 years relevant experience or exposure as forklift driver. Attended orientation programs and ISO related trainings.
