Job Summary:

The Forklift Operator will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, locate, load, and unload products safely and efficiently. The role ensures accurate handling of goods while maintaining workplace safety and supporting warehouse/production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts and related equipment to load, unload, stack, and move materials within the warehouse, factory, or yard. Ensure proper handling of goods to avoid damage during loading and unloading. Conduct daily inspection and routine maintenance checks of forklift equipment. Transport raw materials, finished products, and other items to designated areas. Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and regulatory requirements while operating equipment. Assist with inventory management by moving stock to and from storage areas. Ensure accurate placement of materials in racks, shelves, or staging areas. Report any equipment malfunctions, damages, or workplace hazards to the supervisor. Support warehouse staff in general duties as required. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent. Valid forklift license/certification. Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse, logistics, or production environment. Knowledge of warehouse practices, loading/unloading procedures, and safety regulations. Ability to read load charts, labels, and basic warehouse documents. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Physical stamina to lift, move, and handle heavy loads as required.
