Forklift Driver
Job Title: Forklift Driver
Department: Warehouse / Logistics
Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor
Job Summary:
The Forklift Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, loading, and unloading of materials within the warehouse and yard. The role requires a certified and experienced operator who prioritizes safety and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Material Handling: Operate forklifts (counterbalance, reach truck, etc.) to load, unload, stack, and move raw materials, finished products, and pallets.
• Inventory Management: Transport goods to and from storage areas, loading docks, and trucks. Assist in cycle counting and stock-taking activities.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections and basic maintenance on the forklift (e.g., checking fluids, battery, brakes). Report any malfunctions immediately.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to all warehouse safety rules and regulations. Ensure loads are stable and secured before moving. Operate the equipment in a safe and controlled manner.
• Documentation: Assist in checking incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy. Complete relevant logs and reports.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Mandatory: Valid Forklift Operator License/Certification.
• Mandatory: Valid UAE Driver's License is often preferred.
• Proven experience as a forklift driver in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Good understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management.
• Ability to read and understand orders, shipping manifests, and safety instructions.
• High attention to detail and a strong safety mindset.
• Physically fit to handle the demands of the job.
