1 . JOB OBJECTIVES (SUMMARY OF OVERALL JOB PURPOSE) Plan, Organize and Directly supervise the execution of steel of work activities onboard / Onshore including plate work & welding work. 2 . KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Policies, Processes & Procedures: \xef\x82\xb7 Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner. \xef\x82\xb7 Follow and comply to information Security Rules and data security measures in order to protect the company information / intellectual properties. Day- to-day operations: \xef\x82\xb7 Read specifications, work list and pre-planning job (Sequence of job, manpower, equipment). \xef\x82\xb7 Develop and review vessel Steel repair plan, build strategies in order to formalize the optimum utilization of yard equipment and resources \xef\x82\xb7 Participate in organizing the cutting, fabrication and installation sequences as per the priority in line with engineering inputs. \xef\x82\xb7 Develop detailed completion program with manpower loading. \xef\x82\xb7 Review Dimension Control / Fit up inspections reports and guide the team for necessary proceedings to give the best fit for welding. \xef\x82\xb7 Co-ordination of work progress with Project Manager, Superintendent, Other trades and within the department \xef\x82\xb7 Develop / review manpower request and target report prepared by foreman / Sr. Foreman \xef\x82\xb7 Provide work done reports and descriptions to Invoicers / Estimators to allocate budget as per the tariff ensure that commercial targets are met. \xef\x82\xb7 Report work progress, planned start / end date against work order \xef\x82\xb7 Liaise with department planning section for Productivity measurements as applicable \xef\x82\xb7 Maintain Project file up-to-date as directed with all supporting documents. \xef\x82\xb7 Proactive participation in identifying errors and effective reporting through NCIR system \xef\x82\xb7 Train, motivate, appraise and provide feedback on training requirements to uplift the skill of subordinates \xef\x82\xb7 Attend any training for any activity required by the department.
