Job Description

We are looking for a General Foreman who has minimum 4 years of experience in Construction of G +1 Villas and General Maintenance Works.

Project Engineer / Project Manager

Role Summary

The Foreman is responsible for supervising site activities, coordinating manpower, ensuring work quality, and maintaining progress as per schedule. He acts as the main link between site labor and management, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities1. Site Supervision

Oversee daily site construction activities. Assign tasks to workers based on work requirements. Ensure work is completed as per drawings and specifications. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers on site.

2. Workforce Management

Manage labor productivity and discipline. Monitor attendance and daily performance of workers. Request additional manpower or equipment when needed.

3. Quality Control

Inspect work to ensure quality standards are met. Prevent rework by checking work before approvals. Ensure correct materials and methods are used.

4. Coordination

Communicate effectively with the Site Engineer / Project Engineer. Assist with site measurements and quantity verification. Follow site schedule and report delays or issues immediately.

5. Materials & Equipment Control

Coordinate material delivery and proper storage. Monitor material usage and reduce wastage. Request materials ahead of time to avoid delays.

6. Health & Safety

Enforce safety rules and PPE usage. Ensure safe working practices at all times. Report accidents or unsafe conditions immediately.

7. Reporting

Prepare daily work updates to the Site Engineer. Track progress, manpower, and equipment on a daily basis. Assist in documenting site activities.

Requirements

Minimum 4-10 years experience as a Foreman in construction. Strong knowledge of civil/villa construction works. Ability to read drawings (basic level). Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to handle multiple work fronts and manage labor. Knowledge of safety procedures and site regulations. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in villa projects / finishing works. Basic technical education or trade certification. Familiarity with site documentation and inspections.
