Lead, supervise, and coordinate workers on-site to ensure tasks are carried out efficiently.
Assign duties and monitor daily work progress.
Provide guidance, training, and motivation to team members.
2. Planning & Execution
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
Plan work schedules, allocate resources, and organize manpower.
Ensure timely completion of tasks according to project deadlines.
3. Quality Control
Inspect work to ensure it meets safety standards and quality specifications.
Identify defects or issues and implement corrective actions.
Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and materials.
4. Safety & Compliance
Enforce workplace safety rules and company policies.
Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
Ensure workers use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) correctly.
5. Coordination & Communication
Act as the main point of contact between workers, supervisors, and management.
Report progress, delays, and challenges to project managers or engineers.
Communicate clearly with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients when required.
6. Resource Management
Monitor material usage and prevent wastage.
Request and track tools, materials, and equipment needed for work.
Maintain proper inventory and ensure tools are in good working condition.
7. Problem-Solving & Decision-Making
Resolve on-site conflicts or issues between workers.
Make quick, practical decisions to ensure smooth workflow.
Handle emergencies or unexpected situations effectively.
8. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain daily logs of work completed, attendance, and incidents.
Submit progress reports to management.
Assist in preparing estimates for labor and materials when required.
