Job Summary:

The Construction Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating on-site construction activities and labor teams. The role ensures that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and schedules. The Foreman serves as a critical link between management and site workers, ensuring quality control and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and direct site workers, subcontractors, and trades to ensure timely and high-quality project execution. Interpret and implement construction plans, drawings, and specifications. Coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans provided by site engineers or project managers. Ensure that safety protocols and regulations are strictly followed at all times. Monitor material usage and report shortages or excesses to procurement or site management. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report any malfunctions or damage. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are being met. Resolve work-related issues, minor disputes, or delays directly on-site. Keep accurate records of labor attendance, materials used, and work progress. Communicate with engineers and managers to relay site status and request support as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in the UAE construction industry, Strong knowledge of construction tools, techniques, materials, and methods. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Working knowledge of HSE standards and Dubai regulatory requirements (Dubai Municipality, DEWA, Civil Defence, etc.). Basic spoken and written English (Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu is a plus).
