Job Description

Job Purpose:

To supervise and coordinate the activities of site workers engaged in infrastructure and utilities construction such as roads, drainage, water supply, sewer, stormwater, and irrigation networks, ensuring that work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, monitor, and coordinate day-to-day site activities for infrastructure and utilities works. Allocate manpower, materials, and equipment for assigned tasks to meet project schedules. Ensure that works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements. Supervise works related to: Sewerage & drainage networks Potable and TSE water lines Stormwater and irrigation systems Manholes, chambers, and utility crossings Road subgrade, sub-base, and asphalt works Ensure proper alignment, levels, and compaction before approvals and inspections. Coordinate with the Site Engineer for technical instructions and approvals before execution. Inspect and ensure quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards. Identify potential site issues or delays and report promptly to the Site Engineer. Maintain records of manpower, materials, and daily progress for reporting. Supervise subcontractors and ensure adherence to company standards and procedures. Ensure all safety measures are strictly followed by the workforce. Support the testing and commissioning of completed utilities.

Qualifications and Experience:

Diploma / Technical Certificate in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Minimum

7-10 years

of experience in

Infrastructure and Utilities projects

, including: Roads and highways Sewerage, drainage, and water networks Utilities installation and relocation Hands-on experience in

site supervision

and coordination with consultants and authorities. Good knowledge of

Qatar Construction Standards (QCS)

and

Ashghal

procedures preferred. Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications. Proficient in maintaining site records and preparing daily progress reports. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
