Foreman or Warehouse Joinery Supervisor
.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise day-to-day operations in the joinery workshop and/or warehouse.
Coordinate with production, design, and site teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Manage production schedules and ensure timely delivery of joinery items.
Ensure high standards of craftsmanship, quality control, and finishing.
Oversee receiving, storage, and dispatch of materials and finished goods.
Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the workshop or warehouse.
Monitor stock levels and liaise with procurement for material requirements.
Lead and motivate a team of joiners, machine operators, and laborers.
Ensure proper maintenance of woodworking machinery and equipment.
Read and interpret technical drawings and ensure team compliance.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Foreman, Joinery Supervisor, or Warehouse Manager in a joinery or fit-out environment.
Strong knowledge of joinery processes, materials, tools, and techniques.
Ability to read technical drawings and translate into production.
Leadership and team management skills.
Good organizational and time management abilities.
Familiarity with health & safety regulations.
Forklift license (preferred).
[Optional] Trade qualification or relevant diploma in carpentry/joinery.
