Foreman - Aluminum and Glass Fabrication

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management:

Supervise and manage the daily activities of a team of aluminum and glass fabricators. Ensure team members adhere to safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines.

Project Coordination:

Plan, schedule, and assign tasks to workers based on project priorities. Coordinate with the project manager, design team, and clients to understand requirements and expectations.

Fabrication Supervision:

Oversee the cutting, shaping, assembly, and installation of aluminum frames and glass panels. Monitor production to ensure work meets technical specifications and quality standards.

Material Management:

Ensure the availability of raw materials, tools, and equipment required for fabrication. Coordinate with the procurement team to avoid delays caused by material shortages.

Quality Assurance:

Inspect completed work to ensure it complies with design specifications, safety standards, and quality benchmarks. Implement corrective actions if deviations are identified.

Safety and Compliance:

Enforce compliance with workplace safety regulations and company policies. Conduct safety briefings and provide training on the use of tools and machinery.

Problem Solving:

Address and resolve technical issues during fabrication and installation. Adapt project plans and strategies to overcome unforeseen challenges.

Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain detailed records of daily progress, materials used, and team performance. Submit reports to the project manager or operations manager regularly.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years in aluminum and glass fabrication, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints. Strong knowledge of aluminum and glass fabrication techniques, tools, and machinery.

Leadership Skills:

Excellent team management and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to motivate and lead a diverse workforce.

Problem-Solving:

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions promptly.

Certifications:

Safety and technical certifications in aluminum and glass fabrication are preferred.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to work in physically demanding environments and manage outdoor installations.

Additional Requirements:

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, if needed. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
