Job Summary
The Food Runner plays a vital role in ensuring smooth service between the kitchen and the dining area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately, assisting servers during busy shifts, and maintaining cleanliness in service areas. This position requires speed, attentiveness, and teamwork to ensure every guest enjoys the signature James Cafe dining experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately. Assist servers in ensuring smooth and efficient table service. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, service stations, and corridors. Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to avoid delays. Support the team in resetting tables and preparing for the next guests. Uphold James Cafe standards of hospitality and professionalism at all times.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role (preferred but not required, training provided). Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Physically fit, able to carry trays and stand/walk for extended periods. Positive attitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
