Summary:
We are seeking dynamic and reliable Food Runners to join our fast-paced Cafe client in Dubai. As a Food Runner, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless guest service by efficiently delivering meals from the kitchen to the dining area with precision, professionalism, and a smile. This role is essential to maintaining the high standards of service and guest satisfaction that define our brand. You will work closely with kitchen staff, servers, and supervisors to ensure timely meal delivery, uphold food presentation standards, and contribute to a positive dining experience. Responsibilities:

• Accurately and promptly deliver food from the kitchen to assigned dining tables.

• Maintain proper food presentation and temperature during transport using appropriate carrying equipment.

• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to confirm order details and delivery timelines.

• Ensure all table areas are cleared and reset efficiently between guest visits.

• Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times during food handling and delivery.

• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized service area, including the kitchen pass and dining floor.

• Respond promptly to guest requests and escalate issues to supervisors when necessary.

• Support team members during peak hours and assist with special events or high-volume service periods.

• Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and a positive attitude at all times.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of proven experience in a food runner or frontline hospitality role.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused mindset.

• Ability to stand for long periods and move quickly across the dining area.

• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

• Physical stamina and ability to carry trays and food items safely.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Valid UAE visa and work permit (or eligibility to obtain one).
