Food Runners

Key Responsibilities
Serve food and beverages promptly from the kitchen to the guests, ensuring timely delivery and presentation.
Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas as needed.
Ensure that all food orders are complete and accurate before serving to guests.
Communicate effectively with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and service areas.
Assist with guest requests and ensure customer satisfaction during their dining experience.
Support the waitstaff in refilling drinks, clearing plates, and other duties as required.
Requirements
Qualifications
Previous experience in a food runner or a similar role in a restaurant setting is preferred, but not mandatory.
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
Skills and Attributes
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and a positive attitude.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests and team members.
Detail-oriented with the ability to carry multiple plates and/or trays safely.
Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to assist others.
Additional Requirements
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
A passion for the culinary arts and guest service is a plus.
