Job Title: Food Runner

Reports To: Restaurant Supervisor / Head Waiter

Department: Front of the House

Job Summary:

The Food Runner is responsible for ensuring that food orders are delivered quickly, accurately, and in excellent condition from the kitchen to guests' tables. This role supports the service team by maintaining smooth coordination between the kitchen and dining area, ensuring guest satisfaction and an outstanding dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver food orders promptly from the kitchen to the guests' tables. Ensure all food items match the order ticket in terms of accuracy, presentation, and temperature. Assist waiters and waitresses by refilling water, clearing used plates, and resetting tables when necessary. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to maintain efficient food service flow. Handle special requests and dietary requirements carefully, informing servers or supervisors when needed. Follow health, hygiene, and safety standards as per company and Dubai Municipality regulations. Assist with polishing cutlery, glassware, and other service equipment. Support the restaurant team in peak hours to ensure smooth operations.
Job Requirements:

Atleast 2 years of previous experience in a similar role. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Physically fit and able to carry multiple plates/trays safely. Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices. Positive attitude, customer-service focused, and willing to learn. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
