The Food Runner supports the service team by delivering food from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately, ensuring high presentation standards and a smooth dining experience. This role is essential in maintaining service speed, food quality, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver food orders from the kitchen to tables promptly and accurately
Ensure dishes are presented according to restaurant standards before serving
Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff regarding orders and timing
Assist servers by clearing plates and resetting tables when needed
Monitor food quality and report any issues immediately
Maintain cleanliness of service stations and dining areas
Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times
Support the front-of-house team during busy service periods
Requirements & Skills
Previous experience in a restaurant or cafe is an advantage
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Attention to detail and presentation
Physically able to stand and walk for long periods
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
