A Food Engineer is a professional who works in the agriculture, food processing, or food manufacturing industry. He or she is directly involved in processes to supply safe and healthy food materials like cupcakes, wafers, Swiss rolls, Biscuits, etc. A Food Engineer is focused on developing packaging techniques, processing and improving food quality. He or she applies engineering principles for storage, processing and distribution of food materials and other products. Food Engineer also ensures adequate storage of stocks of canned, boxed and bagged food stuff on shelves of store with the good quality and nutritional value for consumption. He or she also ensures compliance of food processes with the local and state regulatory standards. Food Production Engineer A Food Engineer is a professional who is responsible for processing, packaging and improving food products. He or she either works in the agricultural or food processing industry holding the responsibility of ensuring higher quality of food products including safety, supply, nutrition and value.
