Job Description

Purpose of the role:

The major responsibility of Food Checker is to ensure that the correct proportion of food (according to recipe) has been issued and packed in each box. He is responsible for avoiding missing or wrong ingredients' complaints. Moreover, the Food Checker will perform all tasks related to portioning.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

Double check all Spring food and match with recipe before dispensing to packaging team. Examine and inspect all ingredients and products to ensure that packing specifications are met. Check all sealed products to ensure that there is no leakage or spoilage. Record products, packaging on specified forms and records. Remove complete or defective products. Assist the Spring-in-charge as and when needed.

Professional Requirements:

Minimum of a High School or equivalent.

At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.

Good knowledge of HACCP standards and packaging.

Ability to speak, read and write English at an intermediate level.

Interpersonal Requirements:

Ability to work with a team.

Good customer service skills.

Ability to meet strict deadlines.

Ability to work under pressure.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
