We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with delivery work.
Duties
Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as necessary.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery confirmations.
Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns during the delivery process.
Requirements
Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred.
Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience driving a vehicle is advantageous.
Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety protocols.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks consistently throughout the day.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
