Food & Beverage Waitress
Position: Food & Beverage Waitress
Department: Food & Beverage
Reports to: Restaurant Supervisor / Food & Beverage Manager
Job Purpose:
To provide exceptional, friendly, and efficient food and beverage service to all guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience that encourages repeat business. The Waitress is a key ambassador for the restaurant's standards of quality and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed information on menu items, beverages, and daily specials.
• Take accurate food and drink orders, relay them to the kitchen and bar, and serve them promptly.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure a high level of product knowledge about all menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Maintain a clean and organized station, including setting and clearing tables, and ensuring general cleanliness of the dining area.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and standards.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and bar team to ensure smooth service.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Waitress in a hotel or high-volume restaurant is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Positive attitude, well-groomed, and professional appearance.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and serving techniques.
