Food / Beverage Supervisor

Job Description

You will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of the food and beverage department. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring high-quality service, and maintaining a positive dining experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate food and beverage service activities, including restaurant, bar, or banquet operations.
Train, schedule, and oversee the work of food and beverage service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
Monitor service standards, ensuring adherence to quality, hygiene, and presentation guidelines.
Assist in menu planning, pricing, and implementing promotional activities to drive sales and profitability.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve issues or conflicts to maintain customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as liquor laws and other relevant regulations.
Conduct regular inventory checks, manage stock levels, and place orders for supplies as needed.

Requirements:
Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and train staff effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members.
Understanding of food and beverage operations, including service standards, menu development, and inventory management.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and willingness to enforce compliance.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
