The F&B Director for a Palace in Abu Dhabi (UAE) is responsible for the overall management and direction of the palace\xe2\x80\x99s food and beverage operations. The F&B Director reports to the Operations Director and works closely with the culinary team to ensure high-quality food and service for palace guests.
Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and implement the standard operating procedure, strategy and policies for the palace\xe2\x80\x99s food and beverage department.
Oversee the day-to-day management of the palace\xe2\x80\x99s dining and catering operations.
Manage the F&B budget, including forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality v standards.
Develop and implement training programs for F&B staff to ensure high-quality service.
Build relationships with suppliers and manage inventory levels.
Work closely with the culinary team to develop menus and food and beverage offerings.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in hospitality management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in food and beverage management, including at least five years of experience in a senior management role in a luxury hotel or palace.
Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills, exceptional customer service skills, and experience in managing budgets and finances.
Certifications: Certification from a recognized industry association such as the Food and Beverage Association is preferred.
