Our client is a well-established food distribution organization and as part of their growth we are recruiting an experienced financial analyst with a strong background in sales analysis and reporting to help improve business decisions.

The successful candidate will have in-depth expertise in sales and financial performance forecasting and reporting to reduce business expenses to improve cash flow and profit.

Candidates must have data modelling skills using Power BI to analyze financial data to build financial models and metrics dashboards, determine sales forecasting, variance and flux analysis.

Role Summary

• Build and maintain Microsoft Power BI dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators to monitor business performance.

• Sales performance analysis - create detailed financial statements, reports and data-driven recommendations to create visibility on all key metrics ; variance analysis and identify key drivers for budget variances.

• Work closely with business development and sales function in pricing, margin analysis, sales performance analysis, revenue shortfalls and corrective action plans to meet monthly sales targets.

• Recommend business process improvements, mainly pertaining to data collection and reporting to enhance business analysis capabilities.

• Deep understanding of data architecture, sources and modelling - relational and multidimensional database design.

• Demonstrated ability in data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis of large data sets to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions, financial modelling, forecasts and budgets.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 5+ years deep experience in sales and revenue analysis within the F&B or FMCG trading and distribution sector.

• Experience in business intelligence, statistical analysis and data models, platforms, manipulation such as Oracle, Microsoft Intelligent Data Platform (SQL Server, Synapse, Purview), SQL, DAX and Python.

• In-depth experience working with large data sets in Power BI to run RAX queries to distill sales data to provide qualitative and quantitative analysis that drives business growth.

• Experience of Odoo is a strong advantage.

Education

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Accountancy, Economics or Cost Management

• Fluent in English \xe2\x80\x93 must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
