FM Engineer
Job Summary:
The FM Engineer is a technically skilled professional responsible for the operational functionality, maintenance, and repair of the facility's infrastructure, with a primary focus on mechanical and electrical systems. They perform both planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance of all critical building assets.
Key Responsibilities:

• Execute planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules on MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical distributions, pumps, and generators.
• Diagnose and perform corrective maintenance and repairs on building systems and equipment.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and tenant service requests.
• Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate.
• Assist in managing and overseeing subcontractors performing specialized maintenance.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment histories in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Ensure all work is carried out in strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Monitor building management systems (BMS) and energy consumption to recommend efficiency improvements.
• Perform minor civil and fabric repairs (e.g., patch painting, door adjustments, ceiling tile replacement).

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma or vocational certification in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an FM Engineer, Maintenance Technician, or similar role.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics.
• Proficiency in using tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
• Knowledge of HSE regulations and safe working practices.
