Duties

Plans and organises the efficient and cost-effective layout of facilities.
Oversees the operation and maintenance of the organization\xe2\x80\x99s buildings and facilities.
Maintains good compliance with various policies and procedures.
Ensures that all necessary licenses and permits are acquired.
Negotiates contracts with vendors and maintain relationships.
Estimates material and labour costs.
Supervises overall operating and maintenance of organisation\xe2\x80\x99s buildings.
Plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity etc.) and refurbishments
Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs
Control activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security etc.
Allocate office space according to needs
Handle insurance plans and service contracts
Keep financial and non-financial records
Perform analysis and forecasting

Requirements and skills

Proven experience as facilities manager or relevant position
Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
Must have a UAE Driving License
Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Good analytical/critical thinking
BSc/BA in facility management, engineering, business administration or relevant field

Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:

Dubai: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)
