Job Description

Wood has been awarded a major project with ADNOC and, we are looking to hire a Flow Assurance Engineer to be based at our Abu Dhabi Engineering Center.

Responsibilities

* Responsibility for the technical accuracy, quality and execution of flow assurance on Upstream Oil and Gas conceptual and FEED projects * Technical audits of projects * Liaising with all customers on technical matters * Managing technical flow assurance solutions whilst maintaining the commercial objectives of the project * Provision of flow assurance knowledge to study managers, project personnel, clients and third parties

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or relevant Science subject * Minimum 5 years' experience in the oil and gas industry. * Previous expertise in onshore flow assurance in FEED, Detailed engineering projects * Familiar with two and three phase flow, pipeline modelling techniques and computer tools in both steady state, transient and dynamic mode * Experienced in the assessment and development of operating and control strategies for start-up and shut-down * Experienced in the steady state thermal hydraulic design of flowlines, pipelines and pipeline bundles * Experienced in the analysis of hydrodynamic instability (slugging) and surge * Experienced in the management of asphaltenes, wax and chemicals, pigging, scale, foaming and separation, hydrate inhibition, corrosion inhibition * Experienced in reservoir fluid characterization and phase behaviour analysis
