Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Arrangement:

Create visually appealing floral arrangements, bouquets, wreaths, and centerpieces. Select appropriate flowers, greenery, and accessories based on customer preferences and seasonal availability. Maintain high standards of quality and freshness in all floral products.

Customer Service:

Assist customers in selecting flowers, vases, and gifts for various occasions. Provide expert advice on flower care, longevity, and styling. Handle custom orders, including weddings, funerals, and corporate events.

Inventory & Shop Maintenance:

Manage inventory, order fresh flowers, and ensure proper storage to maximize shelf life. Keep the shop clean, organized, and visually appealing. Monitor and replenish floral supplies (e.g., ribbons, vases, foam).

Sales & Marketing:

Process transactions, handle cash registers, and maintain sales records. Promote special offers, seasonal arrangements, and subscription services. Assist in social media content creation (e.g., photographing arrangements for Instagram).

Event & Wedding Coordination (if applicable):

Consult with clients on floral themes, budgets, and color schemes. Set up and deliver floral arrangements for events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Previous experience as a

Florist

or in a floral design role preferred. Strong knowledge of

flower types, care, and seasonal availability

. Creativity and an eye for color, texture, and design. Excellent

customer service

and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure, especially during peak seasons (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas). Basic math skills for pricing and transactions. Physical stamina (standing for long hours, handling flowers, and light lifting).
