A florist is responsible for creating floral arrangements, bouquets, and decorations using fresh and artificial flowers. They assist customers in choosing suitable floral designs for various occasions, including weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and corporate events. The florist ensures proper care of flowers, maintains a clean working environment, and manages inventory and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and prepare floral arrangements, bouquets, and gift packages.
Assist customers in selecting flowers based on theme, occasion, and budget.
Maintain freshness and quality by watering, trimming, and storing flowers properly.
Manage inventory, including ordering flowers and supplies.
Package and deliver orders when required.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace.
Provide excellent customer service and handle sales transactions.
Requirements:
Knowledge of floral design principles and color combinations.
Creativity and attention to detail.
Good customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure during busy seasons.
Previous experience is preferred.
