Key Responsibilities

Design and create fresh, eye-catching floral arrangements for events, retail sales, and custom orders Interpret customer briefs and occasions into meaningful floral designs Source, condition, and care for flowers and plants to maintain top quality Stay ahead of trends in color palettes, floral styles, and design techniques Contribute to visual merchandising and in-store display arrangements Collaborate with team members on seasonal collections and special projects Assist customers with inquiries and provide friendly, expert advice Ensure cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of floral workspace

Qualifications

Proven experience as a florist or floral designer (minimum 2-3 years) Strong creative eye and sense of aesthetics Excellent knowledge of flower varieties, seasonal blooms, and care techniques Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, especially during peak seasons Good communication and customer service skills Detail-oriented with a flair for color, texture, and form A portfolio of past floral work is a strong plus
