Floor Supervisor
Position: Floor Supervisor
Department: Front of House (FOH) / Service
Reports to: Restaurant Manager / General Manager
Objective:
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Floor Supervisor to oversee our front-of-house operations. The ideal candidate is a natural leader who excels in guest relations, team coordination, and problem-solving. The Floor Supervisor will ensure that every guest has an exceptional dining experience by managing the service team and maintaining seamless restaurant operations on the floor.
Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Experience:
• Greet guests, oversee seating, and ensure all guests receive outstanding service.
• Proactively address and resolve any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Circulate throughout the dining room to monitor guest satisfaction and service pace.
• Team Supervision:
• Supervise, coordinate, and support the front-of-house team, including servers, hosts, and bussers.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate specials, service notes, and reservations.
• Assign sections and manage table turnover to optimize seating and service flow.
• Provide ongoing training and constructive feedback to service staff.
• Operational Management:
• Oversee the reservation system and manage the waitlist during peak hours.
• Collaborate closely with the kitchen to ensure clear communication between front and back of house.
• Monitor dining room cleanliness, ambiance, and set-up to ensure brand standards are met.
• Handle cash floats, process transactions, and assist with end-of-day reporting and reconciliation.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Floor Supervisor, Captain, or Senior Server in a full-service restaurant.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience in training and motivating a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
• Solid understanding of restaurant POS systems and reservation software (e.g., OpenTable, Resy).
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
