Job Summary

In this position you will work closely with the Floor Sales Manager and your colleagues to contribute to Desert Group's business strategy. This will be accomplished by your ability to increase revenue, drive profit margins and maintain customer retention. You will also be required to generate leads, qualify prospects and identify products and services that help to enhance the lives of our customers. You will have extensive knowledge of the Nursery related products and be able to present the value of our products in a convincing and professional manner to our customers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Achieve monthly sales targets set by the Floor Sales Manager Identify and evaluate customer needs and build trust-based relationships with existing and new customers Organize, set-up and display all plant materials and Point-of-Purchase material in the designated Floor for optimal attractiveness to create and drive sales. Coordinate with other Nurseries for the delivery of plant materials to Khawaneej Coordinate with the Khawaneej stock keeper to review the arrived stock Restocking the Floor with plants as per the demands and communicating with the Nursery Floor Sales Manager on material quantities and future needs. Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects and turn those prospects into customers Provide feedback to the Floor Sales Manager on market requirements and consumer needs Provide pre-sales assistance and product education to customers Work on after-sales support services and ensure deliveries are made in line with customer expectations Conduct post sale customer feedback surveys Coordinating with admins for the generation of Purchase requests Supervising and coordinating the loading of the stocks for the customer delivery Highlight the customer issues with the Floor sales manager and provide solutions for the same. Perform all other duties as assigned by the Floor Sales Manager
Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements

Passionate team player and driven to exceed results Minimum of 2-4 years' experience in the Retail Nursery Industry with exposure to a broad range of Garden Center experience strong contacts with landscape and construction contractors, architects, developers and consultants in UAE Proven track record for achieving margins and business development Excellent knowledge of plant material including health, quality issues, disease and pests of plants Excellent communication skills to deal with the customers Ability to prioritize multiple tasks for various individuals. Diploma / Bachelor's Degree is preferable
