Job Summary The Flexo Printing Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality printed corrugated cartons. This role involves setting up machines, monitoring print quality, and ensuring efficient production while adhering to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
Machine Setup: Prepare flexographic printing presses by installing plates, adjusting settings, and loading inks and substrates (corrugated boards).
Operation: Operate flexo printing machines to produce printed cartons according to job specifications and customer requirements.
Quality Control: Inspect printed output for color accuracy, alignment, and defects; make adjustments to ensure consistent quality.
Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs on printing presses; report major issues to maintenance staff.
Material Handling: Load and unload corrugated boards and other materials; manage ink and supply inventories.
Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean and safe work area.
Documentation: Record production data, such as job details, output quantities, and downtime, for reporting purposes.
Collaboration: Work with team members, including pre-press staff and quality control, to meet production goals.
