Some of the key responsibilities for this role:
- Understanding planning, shipping, warehouse management and inventory systems
- Managing daily routes/schedules of shipments and deliveries
- Tracking the progress of shipments
- Knowing all aspects of warehouse operations
- Reviewing inventory needs and keeping adequate stocks
- Liaising with other departments such as creative, food production, finance
- Managing the staff and planning the staff rotas in line of changing needs
- Liaising with other suppliers and negotiating optimum rates
