Position Overview
ADNOC Logistics & Services, the maritime logistics arm of ADNOC Group, is hiring a Fleet Marine Superintendent to oversee safe and efficient vessel operations. The role ensures compliance with international regulations, manages HSE performance, conducts audits, and provides leadership to shipmasters and marine staff. The position requires a Master's CoC with sailing experience as Master, ensuring ADNOC's fleet achieves maximum utilization and operates at the highest safety and efficiency standards.

Core Duties

• Lead health, safety, and environmental performance improvements across ADNOC's fleet
• Manage vessel utilization, operational reliability, and cost efficiency
• Conduct navigation audits, safety inspections, and training on-board vessels
• Review marine risk assessments and ensure mitigation measures are in place
• Provide technical guidance to Masters and staff on navigation and marine operations
• Investigate incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions
• Ensure vessels meet international regulatory requirements including ISM, ISPS, MLC, ISO, and class society standards
• Manage vessel documentation, certifications, and compliance with IMO, OCIMF, and ICS rules
• Supervise marine-related contracts, requisitions, repairs, and acquisitions
• Maintain safety management system (SMS) updates and implement continuous improvements
• Liaise with vessel crews on navigation, operations, safety, and environmental matters
• Coordinate external audits, pre-vetting inspections, and follow-up corrective actions
• Monitor financial performance and ensure marine budgets are aligned with strategic goals
• Participate in crew training programs, appraisals, and competency assessments

Candidate Requirements

• Master's Certificate of Competency (Class 1, unlimited)
• Minimum 2 years sailing experience as Master on relevant ship types
• Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations and safety management systems
• Excellent written and spoken English with strong report writing and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and ability to manage audits, inspections, and documentation
• Physically fit to perform inspections across various shipboard areas
