Job Title: Fixed Assets Accountant

Job Location Abu Dhabi
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update the fixed asset register for all company assets
Record asset additions, disposals, transfers, and retirements in the ERP system
Ensure proper capitalization of assets in line with company policy and IFRS
Calculate and post depreciation on a monthly basis
Reconcile fixed asset sub-ledger with the general ledger
Perform periodic physical verification of fixed assets and investigate variances
Review capital expenditure requests and ensure proper approvals
Track assets under construction and capitalize them when ready for use
Process asset disposals, including gain/loss calculations
Support audit requirements by providing schedules and documentation
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
Prepare fixed asset reports for management
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3 5 years of experience in fixed assets or general accounting
Strong knowledge of IFRS and fixed asset accounting
Experience working with (SAP)
