Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Fitter to join our team at IIQAF. In this role, you will inspect machinery and structures for levels of compliance according to industry standards and regulations. You will prepare detailed reports and make recommendations. You must be knowledgeable in precision instrument calibrations and display a superior level of customer service.

- Inspect industrial equipment, machinery, systems, and structures to identify any safety or integrity issues and develop repair plans to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Diagnose problems and potential risks by operating visual and physical inspection equipment, including power tools.
- Complete detailed reports on inspection results and present these results to management.
- Generate reports indicating non-compliance and areas in need of improvement.
- Monitor systems\xe2\x80\x99 operation, and troubleshoot any problems that arise.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers and inform them of any changes or advancements in industrial standards.
- Ensure that all maintenance tasks are performed in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and machines.
- Proven experience as a Fitter or related position in industrial settings.
- Knowledgeable in the use of precision instruments and demand verification of calibration.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Knowledge of industrial safety and quality standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Ability to climb and maintain balance on lifts, ladders, and scaffolding.
- Positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
