Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

Executes day-to-day Fitting Inspections at the field and provide approval before Commissioning activity. Reviews and ensures adherence to the weekly Fitting program in order to ensure maintenance of substation equipment in line with established guidelines Provides immediate assistance to handle all emergency standby duties for sensitive consumers as and when required Supervises and arranges appropriate immediate actions for system faults and emergency breakdowns for restoration of supply Arranges and attends joint inspection of materials for Substation equipment Provides necessary assistance and participates in investigations of substation equipment failure cases Arranges for emergency standby duties for VIP customers & events as and when required Studies and analyses substation systems to identify the weaknesses of the system from the operational point of view and provides inputs to EDC Team on the same Implements recommended changes as required to the network configuration to ensure the protection of the distribution network Prepares & provides daily, weekly & monthly reports for the fitting inspections done under EDC. Works in cooperation with Quality Assurance and Continual Improvement section on securing and maintain the ISO / Risk Management / ISMS certification. Carries out and ensures the compliance of all activities within the Department are in-line with Kahramaa health and safety regulations
