Job Title: Fit-Out Supervisor

Department: Interior Fit-Out / Projects

Location: Dubai

Reporting To: Project Engineer / Site Manager / Project Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Purpose:

The Fit-Out Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all site activities related to interior fit-out works. The role ensures timely execution, quality workmanship, and adherence to safety and design standards on-site. The Supervisor works closely with subcontractors, site workers, and engineers to deliver high-quality interior spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Supervision:

Supervise and monitor fit-out works including partition, ceiling, flooring, painting, carpentry, joinery, and final finishes. Ensure all tasks are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Coordinate site activities to avoid delays and ensure smooth workflow.
Team Coordination:

Lead and guide site labor, subcontractors, and vendors. Allocate tasks and monitor work progress daily. Ensure that workers follow safety procedures and use proper PPE.
Quality Control:

Conduct inspections to ensure quality workmanship. Prepare and clear snag lists with attention to detail. Report any deviations or non-conformities to the engineer or project manager.
Material Management:

Ensure timely availability of materials on site. Coordinate with the procurement or store team to track material deliveries and usage. Prevent wastage or misplacement of materials.
Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain daily site logs, progress reports, and manpower records. Report site updates, issues, or delays to the Project Engineer or Manager. Assist in preparing site inspections and handing-over documents.
Health & Safety:

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct toolbox talks and report any unsafe practices or incidents.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering / Architecture / Construction or equivalent trade qualification. 4-7 years of proven experience in supervising interior fit-out projects. Strong knowledge of finishing materials, methods, and quality standards. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and shop drawings. Familiarity with local authority regulations (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, etc. preferred). Good communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Preferred:

Experience in commercial, retail, or residential interior projects. Knowledge of MEP coordination in fit-out environments. Basic computer skills (MS Office, WhatsApp/email for reporting). UAE driving license (advantageous).
