The Fit-Out Procurement Officer is responsible for managing the sourcing, purchasing, and coordination of materials and services required for interior fit-out projects. This role ensures timely procurement aligned with project budgets, specifications, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Strategy
: Develop and implement procurement plans specific to fit-out projects.
Vendor Management
: Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for furniture, finishes, MEP components, and services.
Documentation
: Review BOQs and drawings to identify procurement needs; issue RFQs and analyze quotations.
Purchase Orders
: Manage POs and delivery schedules to align with construction milestones.
Compliance
: Ensure materials meet project specs and regulatory standards.
Cost Control
: Track procurement costs, savings, and budget adherence.
Cross-Functional Coordination
: Work closely with design, project management, and site teams.
Supplier Relations
: Monitor vendor performance and maintain strong relationships.
Risk Management
: Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Reporting
: Maintain accurate records and prepare procurement reports.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
3-7 years of experience in procurement within the fit-out or construction industry.
Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, finishes, furniture, and MEP systems.
Familiarity with ERP systems, MS Office, and AutoCAD (a plus).
Understanding of local and international supplier markets, especially within the GCC.
