Our company is seeking a dedicated

Fit-Out Estimator

to join our joinery and interior fit-out department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing detailed cost estimates, reviewing project documentation, and ensuring competitive and accurate tender submissions

Job Responsibilities

Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for interior fit-out and joinery projects. Review and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and scope of works. Perform material and labor quantity take-offs and develop Bills of Quantities (BOQ). Prepare tender submissions, cost breakdowns, and pricing schedules. Source, evaluate, and negotiate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Ensure all estimates comply with project specifications, drawings, and budget requirements. Identify potential cost savings and propose value engineering solutions. Coordinate closely with project managers, designers, and procurement teams during pre- and post-tender stages. Maintain and update cost databases, supplier lists, and pricing records for future projects. Support the project team with variation pricing and cost control during project execution.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree or diploma in

Quantity Surveying

,

Civil Engineering

,

Construction Management

, or a related field. Minimum

3-5 years of experience

as an Estimator in the

interior fit-out or joinery

industry. Strong knowledge of

fit-out materials

,

joinery works

, and

construction methods

. Ability to

interpret technical drawings

, specifications, and tender documents accurately. Excellent

numerical, analytical, and problem-solving

skills with strong attention to detail. Strong

negotiation and communication

skills for coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors. Proven ability to

work under pressure

and meet tight tender deadlines. Knowledge of

local market rates

, material costs, and supplier base is an advantage.
