Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled

Fit-Out Estimator

with a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in the UAE, specifically in commercial, retail, hospitality, and residential interior fit-out projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing project specifications, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, and supporting the tendering process to ensure competitive and profitable bids.

Key Responsibilities:1. Estimation & Costing

Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior fit-out, joinery, MEP, and civil works. Review project drawings, BOQs, specifications, and scope of work to ensure accurate pricing. Conduct material take-offs (MTOs) and quantity surveying as needed. Analyze labour, material, equipment costs, and subcontractor quotations. Prepare cost comparisons and value engineering proposals.

2. Tendering & Procurement

Prepare and submit tender documents, cost summaries, and bid proposals. Obtain competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Evaluate quotations for compliance and accuracy. Support negotiation and finalisation of vendor/subcontractor costs.

3. Technical Coordination

Work closely with design, engineering, and project management teams. Identify discrepancies, risks, and potential cost-saving opportunities. Attend pre-tender meetings, site visits, and clarifications.

4. Reporting & Documentation

Maintain accurate cost databases and market pricing trends. Prepare budget estimates, cash flow forecasts, and project costing reports. Ensure all tender documents comply with internal and client standards.

Requirements:Experience & Skills

Minimum

5 years of experience

as an Estimator in the

UAE fit-out industry

. Strong knowledge of

Dubai market pricing

, materials, and subcontractor network. Experience in

commercial, retail, office, hospitality, and residential

fit-out projects. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings. Strong command of

AutoCAD

MS Excel

,

Bluebeam

, and estimation software. Knowledge of

MEP and civil works

estimation is an advantage.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in

Civil Engineering

,

Quantity Surveying

,

Architecture

, or related field. RERA/LEED knowledge is a plus.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and numerical skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Salary Range (Optional to include):

AED

8,000 - 16,000

depending on experience and company standards.
