Job Description

The Fit-Out Engineer is responsible for supervising and managing all technical and site-related activities for interior fit-out projects. The role ensures that work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:



Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Supervise and coordinate site works including carpentry, joinery, gypsum, MEP coordination, finishes, and furniture installation. Ensure work is executed in compliance with approved shop drawings and quality standards. Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, consultants, and clients. Prepare daily site reports, monitor progress, and highlight delays or issues. Inspect and ensure quality of materials and workmanship. Plan and schedule manpower, materials, and equipment requirements. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards on site. Assist in project handover, snagging, and close-out documentation. Provide technical support to site teams and resolve on-site issues.

Requirements:



Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design.

3-5 years' experience

in fit-out and interior projects. Strong technical knowledge of joinery, finishes, and interior fit-out execution. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Good communication and coordination skills. Knowledge of health & safety regulations. Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project scheduling software (preferred).
