Job Title: Fit-Out Engineer

Job Purpose:

The Fit-Out Engineer is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and managing the interior fit-out works on site, ensuring that all tasks are carried out as per design specifications, within budget, and on schedule. The role involves close coordination with subcontractors, designers, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality finishing standards and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution & Supervision: Oversee daily site activities related to fit-out works including partitions, ceiling, flooring, joinery, MEP coordination, and finishing. Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Monitor and report progress to the Project Manager, ensuring timely execution of tasks. Coordination & Communication: Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth workflow. Liaise with the design team to resolve technical issues and dscrepancies. Quality & Safety Compliance: Conduct quality checks at various stages of fit-out works and ensure all snag lists are cleared. Enforce adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards at the site. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain site records including daily progress reports, material inspections, and manpower deployment. Prepare RFIs, MIRs, and other site documentation as needed. Material & Resource Management: Verify materials delivered to the site and ensure proper storage and usage. Coordinate the procurement and timely delivery of required materials.
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field. 2-6 years of experience in interior fit-out, preferably in commercial, retail, or residential sectors. Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, construction methods, and finishing standards. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings. Familiar with local authority regulations and approval processes (e.g., Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DMCC). Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project tracking tools.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in handling fast-track fit-out projects. Knowledge of MEP coordination in fit-out environments. UAE driving license
