Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled

Fit-Out Draftsman

with strong technical abilities and excellent proficiency in drafting tools and software. The ideal candidate will prepare detailed drawings for interior fit-out projects, working closely with engineers, designers, and the site team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and smooth execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare

detailed shop drawings

, joinery drawings, marble/metal/glass drawings, and as-built drawings for fit-out projects. Convert design concepts into precise technical drawings using CAD software. Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure all drawings meet project requirements. Conduct site measurements and update drawings accordingly. Ensure drawings comply with

industry standards, building codes, and project specifications

. Revise drawings based on feedback from the technical team and clients. Maintain organized drawing records and ensure timely submission. Work closely with production and site teams to resolve technical issues.

Required Skills & Tools Proficiency:

Excellent command of AutoCAD

(2D essential; 3D is a bonus). Knowledge of

Revit

,

SketchUp

, or other drafting tools is an advantage. Good understanding of

joinery detailing, marble finishing, metal works, and interior fit-out standards

. Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings. Skilled in

site measurement tools

(laser measurement, levels, etc.). Good understanding of materials and fabrication methods. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in

Drafting, Architecture, or Interior Design

. Minimum

2-5 years experience

in interior fit-out drafting (preferably in UAE). Knowledge of UAE regulations and codes is an advantage.
